Mohammed Marhoon is the best in Iraq and Bahrain’s match

Bahraini striker Mohammed Jassim Marhoon won the award for the best player in the Bahrain-Iraq match, which witnessed the qualification of Bahrain for the first time in its history after the introduction of the new system in Gulf 17 in Qatar 2004.

Marhoon played 120 minutes at the Bahrain-Iraq game. He managed to score the second equalizer for his team in the added time taking advantage of the pass of his colleague Ahmed Mubarak Bou Ghammar.

The 21-year-old Riffa striker, Muhammad Jassim, was able as well to score the third penalty shootout for his team which contributed to the historical entry of Bahrain to the finals.
