Al Shayeb: We hope to make a match worthy of Gulf football

“Our game against Saudi Arabia is only a semi-final,” said Qatar goalkeeper Saad Al Shayeb on Wednesday at a news conference ahead of the semi-final against Saudi Arabia, stressing the need to appear well and reach the final.

He added: “All games are difficult. There is no easy match, and we will play against a team known by everyone and has excellent elements. We hope to make a match befitting the Gulf football.”
The Qatari goalkeeper said: “The fans are part of the game, and their presence is very important. The last game has seen a large presence, and we hope that the presence of the public will be equal and more in the South Stadium, which will host the match.”
