Sousa: We were not strong enough to beat Saudi Arabia
Bahrain coach Hélio Sousa attributed the loss of his team against Saudi Arabia to the lack of strength during the match.
He said: “We played against a strong team, we did not have enough strength to win. A lot of problems appeared during the first half and errors occurred and then we received goals.”
He added: “The situation has become difficult and complicated to a great extent. If we can overcome Kuwait and collect four points, then we will have to wait for the outcome of the game between Oman and Saudi Arabia. We do not know what the situation will be. We will perform better than we appeared today against Kuwait, and will strive to win”.
Sousa pointed out that Kuwait is an organized team, and Bahrain has already played against them and managed to overcome it, but it remains that each match has its circumstances.”
