Ahmed Ibrahim: We realize the difficulty of the game against UAE

Iraqi defense leader Ahmed Ibrahim said that his teammates had overcome the euphoria of the victory at the opening.

He said at the press conference before UAE’s match: “We wish peace to Bassam Al-Rawi and a quick return. Our team is ready to face UAE and we have no problems, and we ask God success in this confrontation.”

Regarding the victory over Qatar: “Everyone knew our circumstances and how we were preparing for that game and we have seven young players, and this was a good opportunity to show their potential. Everyone has followed the instructions of the coach.”

He added: “We have forgotten everything that happened against Qatar. We recognize the difficulty of UAE, where we played a lot of confrontations and we know their potential very well.”
