Qatar is preparing to host the Gulf 24 with the participation of five national teams
Khalifa International Stadium will witness on the 27th of November 2019, the start of the 24th Gulf Cup, with the participation of five national teams, and the draw will be held on the 23rd of this month.
Mr. Jassim Al-Rumaihi, Secretary-General of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation said: “We are proud to be hosting the tournament for the fourth time and we look forward to welcoming thousands of fans from across the region”.
Mr. Saud Al Mohannadi, Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee of the 24th Arabian Gulf Cup and Vice-President of the Qatari Football Association, said: “Qatar’s hosting of the Arabian Gulf Cup, the most prestigious Gulf national football event, is an opportunity to test our capabilities and expertise in organizing sporting events so as we prepare for the December 2019 FIFA Club World Cup ™ and the FIFA 2022 ™ World Cup”.
The Khalifa International Stadium, with a capacity of 40,000 fans, is the national stadium in the State of Qatar, and was reopened in May 2017 after undergoing a comprehensive development.
The tournament tickets will be available online from October 24th and until December 9th 2019. It will be available in several places in the country including Qatar Mall, Doha Festival City, Villagio Mall, Souq Waqif and Hamad International Airport.
