Al Thani for the presidency and Shukaili for vice president in the elections of the Gulf Union

The electoral committee of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation has completed all the documents supporting the nomination of HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, president of the Qatari federations and the Arabian Gulf Cup, to run for the elections of the president of the Arabian Gulf Cup.

The committee also announced that it has completed the special documents that support the nomination of Dr. Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Shukaili, the second vice president of the Omani Federation, to run for the vice president.

The elections will be held during the meeting of the General Assembly of the Arab Gulf Cup, which will be held in Doha next May 15.

His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani had submitted to the elections after the opening of the candidature, and also Jassem al-Shukaili to run for vice president elections, and the General Secretariat of the Union forwarded their nomination to the Electoral Commission to examine the documents and papers related to their nomination.
