Beach Soccer World Cup: The UAE succeeds in qualifying for the quarter-finals
The host UAE national team succeeded in booking a ticket to the quarter-finals for the first time in its history, after defeating the United States 3-2 on Saturday in Dubai, in the second round of the first group competitions in the 2024 Beach Soccer World Cup in the UAE.
Rashid Eid, Abdullah Abbas and Ali Mohammed scored the goals for the UAE, while Christopher Toth and Alessandro Canale scored the goals for the United States.
The third and final round of the group competitions will be held on Monday, where the UAE will meet Italy to decide the lead, and Egypt will face the United States.
