On the other hand, Sharjah reached the Super Cup for the fourth time in its history, and the second in a row, as it won the title in the first participation of the 2019-2020 season, at the expense of Shabab Al-Ahly, on penalty kicks (4-3), after the match’s regular time ended in a goalless draw, and in The last edition, 2022-2023, was crowned with the Super Cup, with a victory over Al Ain (1-0), and it finished runner-up in the 2020-2021 edition, with a loss to Shabab Al Ahly (0-1), and Sharjah reached the Super Cup match, after being crowned champion of the UAE President’s Cup last season, at the expense of Al Ain by winning the final on penalties (13-12), after a draw (1-1) in regular time.
