The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) issued its November 2023 rankings, with the Saudi national team occupying the best positions among the Gulf national teams, at 56th place in the world.

Behind it comes the Qatari team in 58th place globally, then the Iraqi team in 63rd place in the world, the Emirati team in 64th place in the world, then the Omani team in 74th place in the world, followed by Bahrain in 86th place in the world, then Kuwait in 136th place in the world, and finally Yemen in 152nd place in the world.
