Kuwait club loses to the Iraqi Al Kahraba club

The Iraqi Al-Kahraba Club succeeded in achieving an away victory over the Kuwaiti team, Al-Kuwait, 1-0, in the match that brought them together at the Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah International Stadium in Kuwait, as part of the matches of the fifth round of the second group competitions in the AFC Cup 2023-2024.

The scoreless draw dominated the match until the 74th minute, before Al Kahraba scored the valuable winning goal through Mahmoud Khalil.

Al-Kahraba maintained its lead in the group standings with 10 points from five matches, compared to 9 points for Al-Wahdat, 6 for Kuwait, and 2 points for Al-Ittihad.

The sixth and final round of the group’s competitions will be held on December 11, where Al-Wehdat will meet Kuwait in Amman, and Al-Kahraba will meet Al-Ittihad Al-Ahli in Basra.
