Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup.. Abha overthrows Al-Ahly and completes the 8th round club contract

At the end of the round of 16 matches, and in one of the surprises of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup competitions, Abha Club overthrew Al-Ahly Jeddah by beating them 2-1, in the match hosted by Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah. Abha’s goals were scored by Ahmed Jaber and Carl Ekambi, while Al-Ahly’s goal was scored by Riyadh Mahrez from a penalty kick.

In an exciting confrontation, Sadio Mane snatched Al-Nasr’s ticket to the quarter-finals, by scoring the only goal of the match against Al-Ittifaq in the 107th minute, in extra time, after the match’s regular time ended in a goalless draw.

Al-Ittihad qualified for the quarter-finals after defeating Al-Fayhaa with a clean score scored by Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah (two goals) and Karim Benzema. Al-Shabab also qualified after defeating Al-Fateh 2-1, Al-Taawoun after defeating Al-Wahda with two clean goals, and Al-Hilal after defeating Al-Hazm 3-0. Al-Khaleej qualified after a marathon match against Damak, which ended in a 1-1 draw and they went to penalty kicks, which went to Al-Khaleej’s advantage 6-5, and Al-Faisaly qualified after defeating Al-Najma 3-0.
