Results of Gulf clubs in the third round of the AFC Cup

Within the third round matches in the 2023-2024 AFC Cup.

Al-Kahraba of Iraq lost to the top Jordanian Al-Wahdat Club, 1-3, at Amman International Stadium in Amman, in the third round of Group Two competitions in the AFC Cup 2023-2024.

The second match in the same group also witnessed a draw between Al-Ittihad Al-Ahli Aleppo of Syria and Al-Kuwait of Kuwait 1-1 at King Abdulaziz Stadium in Mecca.

Al-Wehdat tops the group standings with 6 points from three matches, compared to 5 points for Kuwait, 4 for Al-Kahraba, and a point for Al-Ittihad.

The fourth round of group competitions will be held on November 7, where Kuwait will meet Al-Ittihad in Kuwait, and Al-Kahraba will meet Al-Wehdat in Basra.

The first round witnessed Al-Wehdat defeating Al-Ittihad Al-Ahli 2-0 in Amman and Al-Kahraba tying with Kuwait 0-0 in Basra, while the second round witnessed Kuwait defeating Al-Ittihad 2-1 in Kuwait and Al-Kahraba defeating Al-Ittihad Al-Ahli 2-0 in Mecca.

The first-place team in each group, along with the best second-place team in the three groups, qualifies for the West Asia semi-finals.
