Al-Khalidiya takes the lead in the Bahraini League

Al-Khalidiya team advanced to the top of the Bahraini League after defeating Busaiteen 2-1 in the framework of the fourth round of the competition, which witnessed multiple fluctuations in the positions of the ranking table.

The goals of Al-Khalidiya were scored by Ismail Abdul Latif (72) and the Iraqi Dhurgham Ismail (75), while Saleh Al-Zubaidi (90 + 1) scored the goal of Busaiteen.

On the other hand, Al-Najma team continued its good performances this season when it defeated former leaders Al-Riffa Al-Sharqi with two goals scored by Mohammed Al-Rumaihi (21) and Junior Costa (84), against a goal scored by Ahmed Kouri (12).

The “El Clásico” confrontation between Al-Ahly and Muharraq ended in a positive draw with one goal for each team, as Giovanni Santos (57) scored for the first and Firas Shawat (90 + 2) for the second, while Sitra’s confrontation with Manama ended in a 0-0 goalless draw.

Al-Hadd won over Al-Hala with goals from Talal Al-Shorouki (25) and Themobili (57), and Al-Riffa’s confrontation with Al-Shabab was postponed due to the former’s participation in the AFC Cup competition.
