The Yemeni national team is preparing to face Sri Lanka at the beginning of the World Cup campaign

The Yemeni national football team has increased its preparations to face Sri Lanka tomorrow, in the first leg of the qualifying play-off to the group stage of the double Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup finals.

The Yemeni team conducted a training session, in which professionals arriving from Iraq, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Kingdom of Bahrain participated, while the team awaits the arrival of the last professional from the Sultanate of Oman, Anis Al-Mahari.

In the same context, the Yemeni Football Association announced the launch of tickets for the match, which will be held at Damac Stadium, which can accommodate about 5,000 fans.
