Al-Hilal snatches the lead in the Saudi League, taking advantage of Al-Ittihad’s faltering

At the end of the eighth round of Roshen League competitions, Al-Ahly tied with Al-Ettifaq 0-0, and in a second match, Al-Fateh defeated Al-Wahda with a big score of 5-1, with Christian Tello (45+5, 89, 90+2), Murad Batna (67), and Djannini (86) scoring for the winner, while Craig Goodwin (21) scored for the opponent losing team.

For its part, Damak won over Al-Khaleej 2-0, with the two goals scored by Farouk Shafi’i (43rd) and Georges Nkoudou (56th). Al-Ukhdood also defeated Al-Raed 2-1, with goals scored for the winner by Savior Godwin (21st) and Andre Borja (83rd from a penalty kick), and for the loser Karim Al-Barqawi (29).

Abha won over Riyadh 1-0, the goal was scored by Andre Gray in the 84th minute.

The stage matches began on Friday with four matches, where Al-Hilal defeated Al-Shabab 2-0, Al-Nasr defeated Al-Taei 2-1, and Al-Taawoun defeated Al-Hazm 3-1, while Al-Fayhaa tied with Al-Ittihad 0-0.
