Qatari League harvest… Al Rayyan falters, and Al Sadd advances to the lead

Al-Sadd advanced to the top of the Qatari Football League after defeating Al-Gharafa 4-0, taking advantage of Al-Rayyan’s loss to Al-Wakrah 2-3 in the fifth round of the competition.

The defending champion, Al-Duhail, beat Al-Markhiya 2-1, while Al-Ahly beat Muaither 4-2, Umm Salal beat Al-Shamal 3-1, and Al-Arabi beat Qatar 1-0. The round witnessed 23 goals scored in 6 matches, with an average of 3.83 goals per match. .
