Omantel League.. Al-Seeb loses the lead at the top of the fifth round
Al-Seeb and its guest, Dhofar, tied 2-2, at the end of the fifth round matches of the Omantel League. Thus, Al-Seeb overtook the top spot in the standings, as its score rose to 10 points, behind the leader since the first round, Sohar, even though the latter tied in the same round 1-1 against the newly promoted Sur club, its score now stands at 11 points.
In the rest of the round’s matches, Al-Nahda, last season’s champion, refused to lose to Al-Nasr and overturned a two-goal deficit to a 2/2 draw, and its score rose to 8 points in fourth place, while ahead of it in the standings was Oman Club, whose score rose to 9 points at the end of the round after its victory over its guest Ibri who is promoted to the Omantel League for the first time in its history 1/0.
While Al-Shabab, newly promoted to the league, won against its host Al-Rustaq 3/2, and Bahla lost to Al-Wahda who is also promoted to the league this season, by a goal without a response.
