Omani League: Sohar takes the lead
Sohar Club was at the top of the Omani Football League after defeating Al Wahda 3-1 in the fourth round.
Al-Nahda’s confrontation with Sur was postponed due to the former’s participation in the AFC Cup competition.
Sohar’s goals were scored by Mohsen Al-Johar (4 and 13 from a penalty kick) and Abdullah Al-Shibli (53), while Al-Wahda’s goal was scored by Hamad Al-Mukhaini (90 + 6).
Al-Seeb achieved its third victory when it overcame its rival, Al-Rustaq, with two free goals scored by Ali Al-Busaidi (31) and Muhammad Ramadan (52), and Dhofar also defeated Bahla with a goal by Moataz Saleh (89 from a penalty kick).
Al-Nasr defeated Ibri with a goal from Walid Al-Musalmi (47), and with the same result, Oman defeated Al-Shabab, with Emmanuel Akshko scoring for them (90+8).
