The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) issued its September 2023 rankings, with the Saudi national team occupying the best positions among the Gulf national teams, at 57th place in the world.

Behind it comes the Qatari team in 61st place in the world, then the Iraqi team in 69th place in the world.

Then comes the Emirati team in 70th place globally, then the Omani team in 73rd place in the world, followed by Bahrain in 86th place in the world, then Kuwait in 135th place in the world, and finally Yemen in 156th place in the world.
