The UAE faces Kuwait in a friendly match in the October camp
The first UAE national football team is preparing to hold an internal camp in the Emirate of Dubai during the international break scheduled from 9 to 17 next October, which is the third gathering of the team in preparation for competing in the second round of the joint Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup finals, which begin next November, Al-Abyad will play in Group Eight, which includes Bahrain and the winner of the matches against Yemen, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Laos.
During the camp period, the UAE team will play two international friendly matches, the first against the Kuwait national team on October 12, and the second against the Lebanon national team on the 17th of the same month, at Al-Maktoum Stadium in Al-Nasr Club, which was also chosen to host the first qualifying matches next November 16 against the Nepal or Laos national team.
A few days ago, the national team completed its camp, which was held in the Croatian capital, Zagreb, which witnessed a friendly international match against the Costa Rican national team, which ended with the Whites winning by four goals to one, which came through Yahya Al-Ghassani (two goals), Caio Canedo, and Ali Salmin.
