With the participation of 5 Gulf teams…the contract for the Asian Cup qualifiers is completed

The contract for the teams that qualified for the 2024 AFC U-23 Cup finals in Qatar was completed, with the conclusion of the qualifying matches, and the five teams that had previously won the tournament title succeeded in reserving their seats for a new appearance in the finals, namely Saudi Arabia, the defending champion, Iraq, the champion of the 2013 edition, and Japan ( 2016), Uzbekistan (2018) and South Korea (2020).

The qualifying matches witnessed great excitement in the race to reach the finals, as the Iraqi national team succeeded in topping the sixth group on goal difference against Kuwait, after the two teams tied 2-2 in the last qualifying rounds.

The UAE national team was able to top Group Seven on goal difference against China, after defeating India 3-0, and the Saudi national team won the third successive victory by defeating Cambodia 6-1, to secure the top spot in Group Ten.

The 11 teams that topped their groups, including Qatar, the host of the finals, were joined by the four best teams that finished in second place, and the Kuwaiti Blue was among them.

The finals will be held from April 15 to May 3, 2024.
It is worth noting that the qualified Gulf teams (Saudi Arabia, Iraq, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait)
Bahrain, Yemen, and Oman were eliminated from the competition.
