Saudi Arabia loses to Costa Rica

The Saudi national team lost to Costa Rica 1-3 last Friday in a friendly match as part of the national Saudi team preparations for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and the 2023 Asian Cup finals.

Saudi Arabia’s goal was scored by Ali Al-Bulaihi (68), while Francisco Calvo (12), Brandon Aguilera (32) and Randall Leal (89) scored Costa Rica’s goals.

The match was held at St. James’ Park, owned by the English club Newcastle.
