An Asian qualify of Al-Nasr, Sharjah and Al-Nahda

Al-Nasr Club obtained the qualification card to the group stage after achieving a victory against its guest, Shabab Al-Ahly Dubai, UAE, 4-2, at Al Awal Park Stadium in Riyadh, in the preliminary round of the AFC Champions League 2023-2024, and Anderson Talisca scored (11 and 90 + 5), Sultan Al-Ghanam (88) and Marcelo Brozovic (90 + 7) scored the goals of victory, while Yahya Al-Ghassani scored the two goals of Shabab Al-Ahly (18 and 46).

The Emirati club, Sharjah, also qualified for the group stage after defeating the Iranian Tractor 3-1 at Yadigar Imam Stadium in Tabriz. Shaheen Abdullah (25), Othman Camara (84) and Caio Lucas (90 + 1 from a penalty kick) scored Sharjah goals, while Mahdi Hashmanjad (86) scored Tractor’s goal.

While the Omani club Al-Nahda qualified for the group stage after its victory over Al-Khalidiya of Bahrain 3-2 at Sheikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Stadium in Arad, within the preliminary round of the AFC Cup 2023-2024. Essam Al-Subhi scored (7) and Omar Al-Maliki (55) and Samir Al-Sunaidi (77) scored Al-Nahda’s goals.

Ismail Abdul Latif (69) and Cydnia Dabo (84) scored Al-Khalidiya’s goals.
