He is the icon of the leader of Asia, Muhammad Bandar Al-Shalhoub, who was born on December 8, 1980 in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. He began his career in 1993 with Baraem Al-Hilal, and graduated in the age categories to reach the first team in 1999 at the age of 19.

Since his arrival in the first team, Al-Shalhoub succeeded in securing his place in the starting line-up, after strong contributions to the team’s successes, and he scored his first goal with Al-Hilal in front of Al-Ittihad from Jassim Al-Huwaidi’s cross.

Al-Shalhoub was initially an attacking midfielder, and sometimes he was promoted as a right or left winger, to meet the needs of the team in this place, and he was fluent in every position assigned to him, and after one year of his promotion to the first team in Al-Hilal, he joined the Saudi Green, which He continued with until his international retirement in 2018, and two years after his international retirement, Al-Shalhoub decided to hang up his shoes completely in 2020 at the age of 39, after a busy career during which he only wore the Al-Hilal shirt.

Al-Shalhoub achieved 34 titles during his football career, including 33 with Al-Hilal, which made him one of the most titled players in the history of football. He also won the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Cup 3 times, while he won the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, the Saudi Super Cup, and the AFC Champions League twice, and won the Asian Cup Winners’ Cup, the Asian Super Cup, the Arab Championship for Cup Champions and the Saudi-Egyptian Super Cup once, and won the league’s top scorer title of Saudi Arabia league 2009 with 12 goals.

At the international level, Al-Shalhoub joined the first team in 2000 at the age of 20, and played his first match against Qatar in the Asian Cup. Mohammed Al-Shalhoub was crowned with the Saudi national team the Gulf Cup title in 2003. He was also called up to participate in the World Cup in Germany 2006, but he missed participation due to The death of his mother and his departure from the team camp before the Ukraine match.
