His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Association, won the position of Vice President of the Arab Football Association for Asia, by acclamation, and membership of the Arab Football Association Council for the current electoral cycle that extends to 2025.

The elections were held within the agenda of the 27th General Assembly meeting of the Arab Football Association, which was held in Taif Governorate, Saudi Arabia.
