Kuwait beats Bangladesh and qualifies for the final of the South Asian Federation Championship

The Kuwait national team qualified for the final of the South Asian Football Federation Championship (India 2023) after its victory, Saturday, against Bangladesh, with a goal without a response, in the semi-final round of the tournament.

The only (Al-Azraq) goal was scored by Abdullah Ammar in the second minute of calculated time, instead of lost in the first extra period, after the end of the original time of the match, with a goalless draw between the two teams.

The Kuwait national team had qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament hosted by the city (Bangalore) in southern India, after leading the first group with seven points, on goal difference from the Indian team, which has the same balance of points.

Kuwait won the group stage against Nepal, 3-1, and Pakistan, 4-0, while tied with the Indian team, with a goal for each.
