AFC U-17 Championship: Saudi Arabia loses the quarter-final match against Uzbekistan

The Saudi national team missed the opportunity to qualify for the semi-finals after losing to Uzbekistan 0-2, on Monday at Thammasat Stadium in Pathum Thani, in the quarter-finals of the AFC U-17 Junior Championship 2023 in Thailand.

In the first round, the Saudi national team topped the third Group standings with 9 full points from three matches, as it beat Australia 2-0, Tajikistan 2-0 and China 3-0.

On the other hand, the Uzbek national team ranked second in the fourth Group with 7 points from three matches, after drawing with Japan 1-1 and beating India 1-0 and Vietnam 1-0.
