AFC U-17 Cup: Saudi Arabia beats Tajikistan and qualifies for the Golden Square

The Saudi national team secured qualification for the quarter-finals after defeating Tajikistan 2-0 on Monday at Chonburi City Stadium, in the second round of the third Group competitions in the AFC U-17 Junior Championship 2023 in Thailand.

Talal Hajji scored the winning goals for the Saudi national team in the 63rd and 90th minutes of the match.

Saudi Arabia maintained the top of the group standings with 6 points from two matches, as the Saudi national team ensured passage to the quarter-finals.

The third and final round of group competitions will be held on Thursday, when Saudi Arabia will meet China.
