Kuwaiti League: Kazma is the most prominent beneficiary of Kuwait and Al-Arabi draw
The leaders Kuwait and the second-placed Arab teams tied 1-1 at the top of the twelfth round matches of the Kuwaiti Football League, while Kazma succeeded in narrowing the difference with them by defeating Al-Qadsia with two goals to one.
The attempts of the defending champion Kuwait and his Arabi counterpart did not succeed in resolving the result after the latter advanced by Al-Senussi Al-Hadi (66 from a penalty kick), before Yassin Al-Omari responded to him from a penalty kick also in the (82nd) minute, so that the four-point difference between them remained.
Kazma strengthened its position in third place by defeating Al-Qadisiyah with two goals scored by Shabib Al-Khalidi (20) and Guy Dambely (50), against a goal by Mahmoud Mardi (79), while Al-Sahel responded to the goal of Al-Salmiya, which was scored by Athbi Shehab (52), with the goal of Hamad Al-Habsi (64), and Al-Jahra tied with Al-Tadamon with a goal for the same. Talal Al-Ajmi scored for the first (28), and for the second Abdullah Maawi (37).
The teams scored 14 goals in 5 matches, at an average of 3.4 goals per game.
