Pinheiro: Bahrain has excelled physically and qualifying will not be easy

After the Bahrain-Qatar match ended in the second round of the second group, which was hosted by Al-Mina Olympic Stadium at 7:15 this evening, Iraq time, and ended with Bahrain’s victory of 2:1, a press conference was held for the Qatar national team coach, who spoke about the match, saying: “It was a good match, especially for the fans and open, both teams performed well, and Bahrain was able to win.”

And about the decline in the second half: We have four or five new players; Bahrain excelled physically; and we had to retreat.

And about insisting on specific players: I cannot blame the players because they did not score. Mohamed Waad is one of the most important players and is distinguished for shooting, so I left him.

And how does he view the situation of the national team? “If we win the next match, we will qualify, but qualifying will not be easy, and I hope to qualify.”

And about the team’s rhythm and losing the ball in the attacking third: As I said before, we wanted the players to gain confidence; we lacked experience, and this is normal; we face physical problems that caused mistakes, and we hope to avoid them in the next match.
