The excitement continued in the second half and in the rainy weather, and the process of searching for goals continued from both sides, as the Saudi team wanted to equalize and return to the match, while the Iraqi team sought to reinforce its goal with another, although the playing atmosphere was difficult in terms of controlling and transferring the ball, and the Iraqi substitute, Aso Rustam, succeeded. In scoring the second goal in the 86th minute of the match, from a ball that was played from a corner, he tackled it with a header and put it in the net, and the play stopped until the mouse referee decided the matter and counted the goal, so that the match ended with Iraq’s victory.
