The Trophy Tour of the 2021 Arab World Cup, which will be hosted by Qatar from November 30 to December 18, kicked off in six of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ stadiums.

The cup tour, which arrived at Hamad International Airport on Monday, includes a number of schools, ministries and state institutions, as well as the most prominent landmarks and tourist sites, such as Souq Waqif, Katara Cultural District, Msheireb Downtown Doha, and Aspire Park, in addition to famous shopping centers such as Mall of Qatar, Doha Festival City and others, with the aim of promoting the tournament and encouraging the public to book match tickets.

The design of the Arab World Cup comes to celebrate football, which occupies wide fame throughout the Arab world, from the ocean to the Gulf. The design of the cup embodies Arab culture and some of its symbols and connotations, in which the ball at the top of the cup symbolizes the championship and the importance of football in the Arab world, and the map of the Arab world is prominently engraved on the ball to distinguish it from the rest of the world, in reference to the championship of the Arab teams.

The tournament logo includes Arabic letters of the word “Mawtani” carved in an artistic way on the bottom of the cup, in reference to the arts of Arabic calligraphy and Arab solidarity and unity. The lower and upper parts of the Kufic cup or the ghutra, which men of the Arab region are famous for wearing, and the ripples of this keffiyeh mimic the trade routes that the Arabs used in the past in search of livelihood.

The championship cup bears a solid golden base that embodies the solidarity of Arabs and their solidarity to stand as one body in the face of challenges.

The cup tour continues until the start of the championship competitions on November 30, and arrives at Aspire Park on Tuesday from 4-9 pm, while visitors to Souq Waqif in Doha on Wednesday, November 24 will have the opportunity to take pictures with the cup from 5-9 pm.
