Qatari Ministry of Culture and Sports announces events associated with the Gulf Cup

Qatari Ministry of Culture and Sports announced the accompanying activities of the Arabian Gulf Cup, which will be held on the sidelines of the tournament in three places – the National Theater, Khalifa Stadium and Aspire.

The Qatari Council will be at the Khalifa Stadium, while “Villa 24” play will be at Qatar National Theater from November 23 for 15 days, excluding the opening and closing days.

The bands “Music of the Peoples” and “Community Bands” will be at Khalifa Stadium.

Khalifa Stadium will also witness several events including painting on the balls. Tractor and pottery dishes will be painted for display in the marine section.

Balls will be prepared for the public who would like to paint them, as well as special balls for children. In addition, two Qatari artists shall be present to draw directly on the balls in front of the audience.

One of the events that will be held in Aspire is the “Marathon with education above all” (for Gulf students). This event will be held in Aspire by the lake starting from three o’clock, and walking begins at four o’clock on 28 November for two hours.

Aspire will also be the venue for TeleMatch events, with games and activities such as basketball and football in mini-courts.
