The Saudi national team concludes its preparations for the Asian Cup with a victory over Hong Kong

The Saudi national team concluded its preparatory camp, which was held in Sealine, Qatar, during the period (December 31 – January 10), as part of the final stage of the preparatory program in preparation for the 2023 Asian Cup competitions, which begin tomorrow in the State of Qatar.

The Saudi national team defeated its Hong Kong counterpart with a score of (2-0) in the confrontation that brought them together at the Qatari club Al-Wakrah Stadium. The first Saudi goal was scored by Abdul Rahman Gharib from a penalty kick in the 21st minute, and Fawaz Al-Saqour increased the Saudi lead in the 86th minute.

On the other hand, the technical director granted the Saudi players a free period this morning, and the gathering will take place again this evening, at the camp headquarters in the Qatari capital, Doha.

It should be noted that, during the fourth stage of the preparatory program, Saudi played three friendly matches against Lebanon, Palestine, and Hong Kong.
