Umm Salal wins the Qatar Stars Cup at the expense of Al Arabi

Following a marathon match, Umm Salal was crowned champion of the Qatar Stars Cup, defeating Al Arabi (3-1) in the final on penalties, after regular time ended in a tie (4/4), at the Grand Hamad Stadium at Al Arabi Club.

Umm Salal’s goals were scored by: Andy Delor, Elias Hamid, Marawan Loudani and Ali Afif, in the 6th, 37th, 42nd and 91st minutes, while for Al-Arabi: the Syrian Omar Al-Somah scored two goals, one of them from a penalty kick, and Ibrahim Nasser and Salem Reda, in the 45th + 14th and 49th minutes. And 75 and 81.

The match witnessed the expulsion of Ahmed Moeen, the Al Arabi player, in the first half, and it also witnessed the fall of Andy Delor, the Umm Salal player, suddenly, without anyone harming him, and the match stopped for long minutes, until the player was transferred to the hospital, in order to check on his condition. It has been confirmed that he is in good condition.
