Salman Issa.. the journey of the owner of the most important goals of the Bahraini Reds in the World Cup qualifiers

One of the best Bahraini football players throughout history, and one of the few who played and excelled in several positions within the green rectangle, as he was the central defender, left midfielder, left winger, center, defensive midfielder, left back, and striker.

He is the star Salman Issa Ghuloom, who was born on July 12, 1977, and began his football career with Madinat Isa Club, and began his professional career with the Bahraini club Al-Riffa (with whom he achieved most of his titles and achievements) in 1998, and remained with it until 2004, after which he had an external experience in the Qatari Al-Arabi Club from 2005 to 2011, then he returned to his home, Riffa, to play with it from 2011 to 2015, then moved to Manama Club in a short trial 2015/2016.

He was chosen in 2015 as the best player in the Bahraini League after his contributions to Al-Riffa’s victory in the double (the league and the Crown Prince Cup), and scoring 15 goals (top scorer in the league).

At the international level, Salman Issa joined Al-Ahmar from 2001 to 2012, and he was the scorer of Bahrain’s goal in the first leg of the Asian playoff match in the 2006 World Cup qualifiers Germany, against Trinidad and Tobago outside the home, in the match hosted by Port of Seine, which ended in a 1/1 draw. 1, and Bahrain needed to face a return to a goalless tie in order to qualify for the World Cup, but Trinidad and Tobago succeeded in snatching the qualifying goal for the first time in its history.

He participated with Bahrain team in many tournaments, the Arabian Gulf Cup, the 2002 Asian Games, and he also participated in the 2004, 2007, and 2011 Asian Cups.
