Omani League: Victories for Sohar, Dhofar and Bahla at the start of the season

The Oman Football League competition for the new football season 2023-2024 kicked off with the holding of the first round, which witnessed many results, most notably Sohar’s victory over Oman 4-1, Dhofar defeating Al-Wehda 3-0, and Bahla defeating Al-Nasr 1-0.

Sohar responded to Oman’s progress with the goal of Abdul Wahed Al Hanaei (4), to score with deserved sponsorship by Frank William (31 and 76), Abdullah Al Shibli (44) and Ali Al Hashemi (90 + 1).

Dhofar also beat Al-Wehda with a hat-trick scored by Abdullah Al-Mashrafi (25), Awad Al-Shehri (38) and Moataz Saleh (89), while Bahla beat Al-Nasr with the goal of Anis Al-Maari (61).

The round opened on Thursday with a tie for Tire with the goal of Ahed Al-Hudaifi (67) against a goal for Al-Rustaq that came by Bakai Wade (90 + 5 from a penalty kick). (77).

The Al-Seeb match with Ibri was postponed due to the first being linked to participating in the preliminary round of the AFC Champions League.
