AFC U-17 Championship: Qatar loses to Afghanistan

The Qatar national team lost to Afghanistan 1-2 on Thursday at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok, in the third and final round of the second Group competitions in the AFC U-17 Junior Championship 2023 in Thailand.

Habibullah Hotak (18 and 40) scored the goals for Afghanistan, while Khaled Al-Shuaibi scored (26) for Qatar.

On Friday, the first round of the group witnessed South Korea beating Qatar 6-1 and Iran beating Afghanistan 6-1, while the second round on Monday witnessed South Korea beating Afghanistan 4-0 and Qatar drew 0-0 with Iran.
