Kuwaiti League: Kuwait Club clings to the lead

The Kuwait team maintained the top spot in the Kuwaiti Football League after defeating Fahaheel 3-1 in the framework of the seventh round competitions, to maintain the three-point difference that keeps it away from Al-Arabi and Kazma.

Kuwait’s goals were scored by Taha Yassin Al-Khunaisi (7 and 69 from a penalty kick) and Amr Abdel-Fattah (13), while the only goal for Fahaheel was scored by Kuwait player Fahd Al-Rashidi (52 by mistake in his own goal).

Kuwait took advantage of Kazma and Al-Arabi’s draw with two goals for the same. Shabib Al-Khalidi (4) and Guy Dambeli scored for the first (49), and Badr Tariq (77) and Muhammad Sola (90 + 9) scored for the second.

Al-Qadisiyah beat Al-Salmiya with two free goals scored by Salman Al-Boss (43) and Talal Al-Ansari (75).
