For the first time in its history, the Asian leader reached the Club World Cup final
Al-Hilal Saudi Arabia qualified for the final of the Club World Cup held in Morocco, for the first time in its history, after its victory over Brazilian Flamengo 2/3 on Tuesday in the golden square of the tournament.
The duo, Luciano Vietto and Salem Al-Dosari, shone, as Vito got two penalties, which Al-Dosari translated into two goals, and Al-Dossary made the third goal for Luciano.
Thus, Al-Dosari becomes the first Asian player to succeed in scoring in three different versions of the Club World Cup, as he previously scored against Al-Jazira of the United Arab Emirates during the overwhelming victory for Al-Hilal 6/1 in the 2021 edition, and he also scored against Flamengo during the 2019 edition.
Al-Hilal also became the most Asian club scoring goals in the Club World Cup, with a total of 14 goals, surpassing the achievement of the Japanese Kashima Antlers, who scored 13 goals, and who reached the final in the 2016 edition.
