Branko: Our victory is well deserved and I thank the players
After the match between Oman and Bahrain in the semi-finals of the 25th Arab Gulf Cup, which was hosted by the Olympic Port Stadium and ended with Oman winning 1/0, a press conference was held for Branko Ivankovic, coach of the Oman national team, who spoke about the meeting, saying: “Thank you everyone, we have reached the final, which is a good thing, I congratulate the players, they played a great match and the goal was a reward for their work. We qualified despite the injuries, and I thank the fans who came today from Oman. I am happy for the happiness of the fans and I thank the players.”
He continued: “Satisfied with the performance, the match was difficult, happy to face Iraq and wait for the final to win. I followed Iraq a lot, hosting and among its fans. I thank the Iraqi fans who supported everyone.”
And he added: “The finals are played to win, and it depends on the opponent, and every match is difficult, and we are ready.”
And he continued: “The most important thing is the deserved victory against the good title holder, confidence for the players, gaining experience of course, and implanting the idea of winning in the minds of the players. These are the most important gains of the match today. I thank the fans for trusting us, and our goal is always the happiness of the fans.”
