The Media Committee of Zain Gulf cup 25 in Basra holds its fifth and final meeting and submits its recommendations to the Competitions Committee

Basra – Iraq | The Media Committee of Zain Gulf cup 25 in Basra held its fourth meeting, headed by Ahmed Odeh Al-Musawi, which was held at the Grand Millennium Hotel, Basra, on Sunday at 4:15 pm.

The meeting was attended by members of the committee, Khaled Al-Kuwari – Vice-Chairman of the committee – Stam Al-Sahli, Muath Al-Khamisi, Salem Al-Naqbi, Faisal Al-Tuwaiher, Ahmed Mirza, Younis Al-Ghafri, Bilal Mustafa, the committee’s rapporteur, and Youssef Fa’l, the representative of the Iraqi Football Association.

The attendees discussed the agenda of the fifth meeting, which included approving the minutes of the fourth meeting, viewing media reports for the third-round matches, and appointing media coordinators for the two semi-final matches.

The attendees also discussed – according to the agenda – following up on the implementation of the decisions, recommendations and suggestions of the fourth meeting, and evaluating all media matters for Zain Gulf Cup 25 in Basra.

At the same level, the committee submitted several media recommendations to the competitions committee of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation, aiming to improve media work from all aspects in the upcoming Gulf Cup tournaments.

The members thanked the Iraqi Football Association and the local organizing committee for all their exceptional efforts at various levels to accomplish successful organization of 25th Gulf cup in Basra, praising the public attendance, which was record – compared to previous tournaments – and the attendance reached 450,000 fans, up till the last match, and this was the beauty of the tournament and the most important reason of its success.
