A beautiful opening of Khaleeji Zain 25 in Basra

Basra witnessed a dazzling opening ceremony for the “Khaleeji Zain 25” competitions on Friday, January 6, 2023, and it was held at the Basra International Stadium, which can accommodate 65,000 spectators.

The opening ceremony witnessed a variety of paragraphs that reflected Iraqi civilization and the legacy of the city of Basra and its great history. It also dealt with the cohesion between brothers in the Gulf and the common history that brings together the people of the same region.

The Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shayaa Al-Sudani, announced the launch of the Zain 25 Gulf Cup Championship in Basra. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the International Football Association, Gianni Infantino, His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, and His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Gulf Cup Football Association, the President of the Qatar Football Association, and the guests of the tournament, including heads of federations, sports personalities, and media personalities.

And many Iraqi officials, guests, Arab brothers, and ambassadors of the Gulf countries

Great Iraqi artistic names, such as Jawad Al-Shukrji, Enas Talib, and Mahmoud Abu Al-Abbas, participated in the performance of the ceremony, accompanied by singer Hussam Al-Rassam and singer Rahma Riyad.

The large audience interacted with the beautiful concert, adding a striking beauty and remarkable harmony.

The stadium could not accommodate the fans who went there, and thousands of them remained outside its walls.
