The Green team will leave for Alicante on Saturday for the second stage of preparation for the World Cup

The Saudi team’s delegation will leave this afternoon, Saturday, for the Spanish city of Alicante, via King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, to start the second phase of the green preparatory program in preparation for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, which begins next November.

Al-Akhdar will hold a preparatory camp in the Spanish city of Alicante from 17 to 27 September. During the second stage, Al-Akhdar will play two friendly matches, the first against Ecuador on the twenty-third of September, and the second friendly against the United States on the twenty-seventh of the same month, and both matches will be played at the Nueva Condomina stadium in Murcia.

It is worth noting that coach Herve Renard summoned (26) players to join the camp. Al-Ghannam, Saud Abdel Hamid, Ahmed Bamasoud, Ali Al-Hassan, Sami Al-Najai, Awad Al-Nashiri, Muhammad Kanoo, Riyadh Sharahili, Salman Al-Faraj, Nasser Al-Dosari, Salem Al-Dosari, Hattan Bahbri, Nawaf Al-Abed, Haitham Asiri, Fahd Al-Mawlid, Firas Al-Braikan, Harun Kamara.

It is worth noting that the Saudi national team is in Group C in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, along with Argentina, Mexico and Poland.

On the other hand, the Saudi national team management announced the details of the friendly matches that Al-Akhdar will play in the remaining three stages of the preparatory program in preparation for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, where the green will play 8 upcoming friendly matches against the teams of Ecuador, America, Macedonia, Albania, Honduras, Iceland, Panama and Croatia.

It is worth noting that the Saudi national team played two friendly matches in the first phase of the preparatory program against Colombia and Venezuela.
