Khaled Al-Kuwari: The two groups are balanced, and the large attendance enriched the ceremony, and the championship has become a Gulf heritage

Khaled Mubarak Al-Kuwari, Vice-Chairman of the Media Committee at Gulf 25, confirmed that the draw went exceptionally well in light of the high-level presence of the guests who honored the ceremony and at the media level as well or at the level of game icons from the old players and Gulf football stars, as well as representatives of the participating federations.

He added: “We thank the brothers in Iraq for the good organization, the good reception and the hospitality, and the draw was balanced in the first and second groups, and we hope to watch big matches worthy of this tournament, which has great goals and diverse contents after it became a special Gulf heritage.”

Al-Kuwari stressed that the role of the Gulf Cup tournaments among Gulf football fans cannot be overlooked, which gave them a great position among the people of the Gulf, considering that all indications confirm that the next edition will receive great attention and the media will contribute to its glow and luster.

He added: “The inauguration of the championship amulet, which is “Sinbad Al-Basrawi”, is an indication of the importance of the championship for the people of Iraq and linking it to the Iraqi heritage through generations, and this confirms that the brothers in Iraq are working hard and diligently to organize a distinguished championship, God willing.”
