The Inspection Committee of the Arab Gulf Cup Federation concludes its visit to Basra

Today, the inspection committee of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation concluded its visit to the Iraqi city of Basra to review the progress of work in the stadiums and facilities in preparation for hosting the 25th Gulf Cup, which is scheduled to be held from January 6-19, 2023.

The delegation was headed by Jassim Sultan Al-Rumaihi, Secretary-General of the Federation, on a three-day visit, during which intensive field visits were made to stadiums and facilities, and a number of meetings were held with the Iraqi Football Association and specialists to discuss the most prominent observations of the committee to implement them as soon as possible.

It is worth noting that the executive office of the federation will hold a meeting next Thursday (June 30th) to review the report of the inspection committee and discuss the readiness of the Iraqi Football Association to host Gulf 25.
