Mohammed Jassim .. the heavenly, who decided the qualification of the Bahraini Reds to the historic final in the Gulf Cup

Many Gulf players have emerged in local and continental tournaments, among them is the star of the Bahraini national team and Riffa Club, Muhammad Jassim Marhoon, who has outstanding technical capabilities and remarkable touches, who is good at playing in the left center of the midfield, the attacking center, and the left wing.

Muhammad Marhoon was born on the island of Sitra, south of the capital, Manama, on February 12, 1998. He began playing football in Sitra Club, and was remarkably prominent in the age group tournaments, after which he moved to Riffa Club.

Since his early years, he has been mortgaged as a goal machine that never rusts. In each season, during the age group tournaments in Bahrain, he was on a permanent date with the net, and was crowned more than once with the award of top scorer in various competitions.

Al-Samawi, which is the nickname given by the fans of Riffa Club to its star, was able to win the League and King’s Cup titles, and he was one of the elements of the team that achieved the local football achievement.

Due to his remarkable technical abilities, Marhoon reserved a permanent seat for him in the list of Bahraini teams (juniors, youth and senior), as he has many distinguished experiences in this regard, especially with Al-Ahmar when he was one of the stars of the historical achievement by winning the Gulf Cup 2019 title in Qatar.

And in the way of adults, Marhoon scored a wonderful goal against the Iraqi team in the semi-final match of the Gulf Cup (the most beautiful goal in the tournament), when he received a ball on his chest in a wonderful way and put it in the net to lead his country to the final match for the first time in the history of his participation, and then win after that was the title of the competition, at the expense of the Saudi Green, who had qualified for the final after beating Qatar with a goal by Abdullah Al-Hamdan.

The Bahraini national team star went through a short professional experience with the Czech club Bohames, but it was not possible to continue. Despite this, his ambition remained dependent on repeating the professional experience in Europe, when he stated that it was his first and last dream.
