Adel Al Mulla.. The departure of the Qatari football dollar
One of the most prominent Qatari football strikers, born on December 7, 1970, began his career as a table tennis player, then switched to football with the Qatari club Al Arabi.
Al-Mulla moved from Al-Arabi to Al-Khor, and from there to Al-Rayyan, who spent a distinguished period with him during his football career, and the fans called him the dollar.
Adel Al Mulla won the Qatari League Championship 5 times in the Al Arabi shirt, and also won the Emir Cup 3 times, and the Crown Prince Cup once during the golden period of Arab football, while he also won the Crown Prince Cup once with Al Rayyan, and in the end he returned to his Arab club.
At the international level, Al Mulla played with the Qatari national team from 1992 to 2000, and he scored the historic goal of Al Annabi against Japan in 1992, when Qatar qualified for the Barcelona Olympics, and participated with the Qatari team during the Olympics, and he also scored Qatar’s goal against Kuwait in the 1992 Gulf Cup, and achieved with Al Annabi, the 11th Gulf Cup, which was held in the same year in the Qatari capital, Doha. He was also part of Al Annabi’s starting lineup in the 2000 Asian Cup.
Al-Mulla worked as an analyst for the Al-Kass Sports Group, and a few days ago he went to England, to be overwhelmed by death there after a sudden heart attack at the age of 52, leaving a career full of achievements.
