Gulf national teams await the draw for the AFC U-23 Cup
Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Iraq and Kuwait are awaiting the draw for the U-23 Asian Cup, which will be hosted by Uzbekistan from 1 to 19 June.
The classification of the teams was established after the qualifiers that were held from October 23 to November 2, 2021, where the Saudi green came in the first classification, along with Uzbekistan, South Korea, and Australia, while the Emirati white came in the second level, accompanied by Jordan, Thailand, and Iran, while The Lions of Mesopotamia and Qatar came in the third level along with Japan and Vietnam, while the Kuwaiti Blue came in the fourth level, along with Tajikistan, Malaysia, and Turkmenistan.
It is noteworthy that the tournament was scheduled to be held in China, and due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it was replaced on March 18, 2021 by Uzbekistan.
