The Gulf teams continue to prepare for the 6th round of the World Cup qualifiers

The teams of Saudi Arabia, Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Iraq continue their preparations for the sixth round of the final Asian qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.

The Saudi team, the leader of the second group of qualifiers, with four victories and a single negative draw against the Australian team in the last round, plays against its Vietnamese counterpart, and Al-Akhdar seeks to continue the good performances and qualify to the World Cup.

In the same group, the Omani Reds (4th place) will host the Japanese team (3rd place), in a difficult confrontation, as the two teams compete for the third place, which saves its owner the chance to qualify for the World Cup, and the Red was tied in the fifth round against China in the meeting hosted by the UAE city of Sharjah.

In the first group, Iraq faces the South Korean team. The Lions of Al-Rafidain tied in the fifth round against the Syrian brother (1/1), while the Emirati Al-Abyad faces its Lebanese brother, trying to improve the image after the loss against South Korea in the last round with a goal without a response. The Iraqi team occupies the 4th position in the group, followed by the UAE team in fifth place.
